RAHSA and the Art History Department travel to the Barnes Collection in Philadelphia PA 2014
The Rutgers Art History Student Association (RAHSA) is a campus organization, founded in 2007, dedicated to providing a community for students of all majors who enjoy Art and Art History. The aims of the organization are:
To provide a forum for Art History majors and minors, and students of any major to express their opinions and ideas about the field and/or current issues that are happening.
To expose members to current issues in the field and in the contemporary art world.
To provide members with information about internships, study abroad, graduate programs, job openings, resume writing and interviewing skills.
To expose members to museums, galleries, art exhibitions, lectures, colloquium, and other arts related events happening on the local and global level.
To provide members with free trips to museums and galleries in the area that will expose them to the current art world and art history.
To promote and utilize the Zimmerli Art Museum.
To provide networking opportunities for members not only with peers in the club and their field of study, but also with Rutgers faculty, staff, alumni, and visiting lecturers.
