Networks

The Rutgers Art History Graduate Student Organization sponsored a one-day symposium, featuring graduate student research in art history, offering perspectives on the conception and impact of “networks” in the history of art and visual culture.

The Developing Room, a working group at the Center for Cultural Analysis, convened the symposium Photography and Its Origins on April 27, 2012, moderated by Andres Zervigon and Tanya Sheehan. The speakers were Jordan Bear, Mirjam Brusius, Marcy Dinius, Terry Matilsky, Anne McCauley, Julia Munro, Stephen Pinson, Beth Saunders, and Shawn Michelle Smith.

 

 

 

The symposium was held on April 19, 2012 in the Plangere Room in Murray Hall.
