Sara is a doctoral candidate focusing on architecture, urban landscape and ecology in medieval South Asia. She engages architectural and urban space through visual, archaeological and experiential approaches, and uses GIS tools to support her research.
Sara has a background in architectural heritage and conservation from Polytechnic University in Turing (Italy). She received her Master's in Art History and Archaeology from SOAS, London. She is trained in Odissi, an Indian Classical Dance style, which she studied at a gurukul in Bhubaneswar (Odisha, India). She is currently receiving training in yoga.
