Maurice Lee Fellowship


BASIC INFORMATION:
Fellowship is for a Douglass College senior who will pursue an advanced degree in history or art history.

  • A tribute to the deep commitment and dedication of Maurice Lee

  • Came to Douglass in 1967, named chair of History Dept in 1969

  • Named Margaret Judson Professor of History in 1987

  • Loyal Douglass fellow and longtime benefactor of the college

  • Retired after a 29-year career at Douglass and Rutgers

  • Fellowship is for a senior who will pursue an advanced degree in history or art history
