In October 2007 a trip to New Haven was made by the Art History Society and the Certificate Program in Historic Preservation and Dr. Tod Marder. The group visited the Yale University Art Museum (Louis Kahn, 1953), Yale Center for British Art (Kahn, 1974), Morse and Stiles Colleges (Eero Saarinen, 1961), the Ingalls Ice Hockey Rink (Eero Saarinen, 1953-58 ), the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library (Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, 1963 ), the art collections, and a number of local watering holes. On the way home the group viewed the film "My Architect", the story of Louis Kahn as told by his son.
