Conservator, The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Jean-François de Lapérouse visited Rutgers University on October 22, 2018 to deliver a lecture about the theoretical and methodological principles of art conservation. He spoke about his longtime experience as conservator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and discussed current challenges faced by conservators at institutions that hold vast and diverse collections.
