Negar Rokhgar (firstname.lastname@example.org) is a fourth-year Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Art History at Rutgers, under the supervision of Prof. Sarah Blake McHam. Her area of concentration is Italian Renaissance art, particularly on the transported objects from the Islamic Middle East to Italian collections and paintings. She received her M.A. from the Art University of Tehran, Iran. Negar is writing her dissertation on the diplomatic gifts from Persia to Italy, between 1450 and 1700.
