Christina Lamb Chakalova received a B.A. from Lafayette College with a double major in Fine Art/Art History and Religious Studies in 2005. In 2012, Christina earned an M.A. in Art History with high honors from the University of Vienna. In 2015, Christina commenced with her doctoral studies in Italian Baroque painting at Rutgers under the supervision of Dr. Catherine Puglisi. Christina’s dissertation investigates practices of artistic coexistence and exchange between Italian and Austrian painters in the fashioning of the Austrian Baroque interior. Christina is also pursuing a curatorial certificate and is currently a Dodge-Lawrence Fellow at the Zimmerli Art Museum.
